Dental Implants

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

We had a patient in today who was having a front tooth that he lost a while ago replaced with an implant retained crown.

He had thought about a single tooth denture to fill the space but was not really keen on having a non permanent solution and a bridge was not an option as he did not want to compromise the healthy teeth either side of the space.

The patient was in the surgery for only a short time and said he was amazed at how painless the treatment was! He has gone out today with a small temporary denture over the healing implant so he is not with a gap at any time and in a few months we will be able to fix a crown onto the implant – job done!!

If you think this treatment would be of interest please call 024 76454350 and book a free consultation.

Cosmetic contouring–improving long front teeth with no drilling!!

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Here at the Coventry Centre for Advanced Dentistry we provide a pain-free cosmetic contouring treatment option that needs no drills–just the other day we saw a patient who had overly long front teeth which she disliked. We used our special cosmetic contouring discs to gently recontour the teeth to the ideal proportion and the patient was delighted. What is a dental Implant?

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

A dental implant is typically  a small screw inserted into the jaw bone to replace a missing tooth.  This tooth can look and feel and perform like a natural tooth.   They can be used to replace a single or several missing teeth.  Patients are often surprised as to how painless this procedure is.  If you have any questions and are  interested in dental implants contact us for a free consultation with our experienced qualified Implantologist, Dr Jag Shergill and his team.
